I’m a self-taught chef that believes in cooking real food with real ingredients, giving your body what it truly deserves.

My passion for cooking came while watching my Grandmother experiment in her kitchen. She never seemed to follow a recipe, yet always knew exactly what to do to make the best meals. She taught me that home-cooked is always best, that a dutch oven is worth it’s weight in gold, and that your dinner always looks better on a blue and white plate.

Spending time in the kitchen and cooking for others, are my favorite things to do! I love trying new recipes and cooking ones that are tried-and-true. I’ve also learned a lot from cooking for my husband, who is lactose intolerant. It’s so important to me to find great substitutions that do not sacrifice flavor. Many of these recipes are featured on my social channels and will be posted on my website, here at forlemonsake.com.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m checking out the newest restaurants with my supportive and adventurous husband (unless there is a Philadelphia Eagles game on), showering our mini golden doodle with kisses, or cracking open a bottle of wine (or two) with friends!

In January 2020, my husband and I moved across the country to Memphis, TN. At this time, I took a leap of faith to pursue my passion in the kitchen. I’m grateful everyday to have the opportunity to share my love of food with all of you, and I can’t thank you enough for joining me.
